She's a Nurse Practitioner actually. At tribal health.
She took one look at me and said I had the classic PCOS look. Looked at my labs and said that although things were in the "normal" range - they were not what should be normal for my age (total cholesterol and A1C) Checked my iron and I am still anemic, despite 3 months of supplements. She told me to double the amount I am taking. Put me on Provera to bring AF on again (I'm on CD 51) and gave me a supply for next cycle, too. Got pissed off at the other doctors who have given me the run around. Scheduled me for a follow up in 2 months and said she would more than likely be prescribing metformin for me either at that time or before. She was going to go over my labs in more detail.
I wanted to cry. Someone finally believed me. She totally validated my feelings and I am so glad I decided to go there.
