Default I think I may have found the link I was looking for

http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/con...tract/92/2/705

Check out this link. It's a bit dense and only a summary but after reading it, it seems to me that what it says is that the eggs of women with PCOS, because of delayed follicle development, are more likely to produce embryos with chromosomal abnormalities, leading to recurrent miscarriage and possibly to birth defects. All this as a result of defective hormonal balance (LH mostly).

Fascinating stuff and doctors won't tell you this! Looked at some studies with mice and fruitflies, same junk.

Really? Wow, Sonya, because both my women's health doctor, genetic counselors and OB-GYN all assured me that PCOS had NOTHING to do with chromosomal abnormalities, that miscarriages in us women were caused by other factors only. Of course I didn't believe them and went looking for the research myself.

See, this is why I need an RE. It would save me lots of all-nighters. Unfortunately as soon as I got one I had to give her up because my insurance won't cover visits with her.

So I think what this article is trying to tell me is that a lot of us women could have a "spindle defect"-- which just means that we produce embroys with screwy chromosomes. That would also explain, in my mind, why many of us have unfortunately had stillbirths/children with birth defects or disabilities and preemies.
