I took two pregnancy tests they both were faintly positive but I recently got my Montly, My sis told me to go to the dr's. But I'm so afraid it's going to be negative again is there a possibility that I could still be pregnant Cause I sure am having alot of symptoms please help me with a possible answer Could the Test be wrong? twice? please im me on my yahoo screen name or send me a message please thanks ~Nicky~

lol ok I took the preg test then threw it away after like 2 mins cuz I saw the negative sign but when i looked later that night I saw a positive i never had that happen before it can't change to a positive if it's not right? lol i'm so confused and the other 1 I let sit in the bathroom then came back it was positive faintly.. I guess i'm more less scared of the negative because my husband is so excited he keeps ask'n me if i think i am pregnant because everytime i wake up or eat or drink sum'n i get so sick i think lol i may buy 1 more preg test to know for sure lol thanks for the thoughts

well, where we live it costs a lot for a test and if they are not dont exactly right they can be unreliable, where as you take a smple to ur dr's, they dip in a dipstick and you get your answer. scary or not, it's better to know for sure. if you take a 3rd and it comes back positive you will still have to go to the dr's and the 1st thing they'll do is a test to be sure! if you're not, try again, if God intends for it to happen, it will all be in it's rightful time and place.

True I think when i'm off next week I will make a dr appointment lol drag the hubby in wit me lol he said I dont' know if i can watch them go in you with the stick lol men are funny sumtimes he def told me he dont think he can be in the operating room if and when I have a baby lmao he'll pass out probably as big as he is lmao

But I think you should really go to the doctor. My friend thought she was pregnant and took two tests which came back negative and she also got her monthly but she was having morning sickness etc. so three or four weeks later she took five more tests and they all came back positive and then she went to the doctor and he confirmed that yes she is nine weeks pregnant!

Moving on to IVF after a year of infertility and 3 Femara cycles. Lupron started on 7/27.
I took a pregnancy test that said neg and later turned pos as it sat. It was a cheap test so then I went and spent the extra money and got an EPT test and it said that I was. They seem to be the most reliable for me anyway.
Make sure you read the results in the alotted time frame or they are not valid! This is very important as an evaporation line sometimes occurs in tests if they sit a while. I have had this happen to me twice. I took the test, it looked negative, looked at it later and there was a line, however, when I got a beta it was negative and I got AF. So..... my advice, make sure you read tests in time allowed to get a "true" result! Good luck

I agree, you have to do it in the alotted time. A lot of the inserts say don't read the test after X minutes have passed. Also, do the test first thing in the morning, this way all those hormones had a chance to build up in your urine. (if you have them)
The line appeared after the 10-minute time limit. Is it still positive? No. You can't rely on any test results that appear after the time limit. There is a reason the tests have a time limit-- and torturing us is not usually that reason If a line appears in the "results" window after the time specified in the directions, wait a couple days and test again. HPT's are rapid assay diagnostics, which means any results appearing after the "rapid" time limit of 10 minutes are invalid-- after this time, natural changes in the chemicals may cause lines to appear.
you said you looked at the 1st test later...how much later?

One thing that my family members told me.. is that a Positive (within the amount of time limit alloted) is a positive... but a negative does not necessarely mean negative...
Both mom and my sister were negative until almost their 3rd month of pregnancies with the lil pee tests.. only the blood tests would give the true results...
I would certainly recommend to go see your doctor.
