hi ladies,

it's been a looong time since i've posted, but i've been taking my Met pretty faithfully for about 4 months now, i'm on 1500mg, which I usually manage to take, but i'm just bad at remembering, so if nothing else, I at least take 500-1000mgs a day.

I've had a period on the 8th of the months for 3 months, and this month and last month on the 14th. Hooray!

SO, while ive not tested for ovulation (haven't been to RE since March) I tihnk I may be because I've had the, err..sorry for TMI different discharges throughout the month, including the extra slippery stuff...so, can I take that as I'm ovulating? Maybe I shoud just go out and buy a few boxes of testing sticks?

Anyways, it's working out great so far. Now, if I could just get the stubbly chin to go away, and y'know...make a baby, i'd be all set.

Congrats! That does sound promising. I'm hoping for the same success. I've been on met for about a month- no period yet.

Hi...me too! I've really noticed it the past 2 months, to the point that it was like 'oh my God, I don't remember the last time I was this eggy!'

I've been on 2000 mg of Met since about the start of July. Am not ttc (have finished having kids - so grateful to have had no trouble having them) but am desperate to lose some more weight. Have so far lost 60 Lbs in the past three years, but have sort of plateaued.

I wonder if the clear ovulation signals mean that my hormones are coming back into line & the weight will start shifting again?
