I don't know if anyone else has noticed this about provera if you've taken it. I know the first time i took it they sent me home said take these pills for 10 days and you'll have a period about 10 days after that. Oh my lord that was the most horrible experience...........I was moodie, i was crying, i was uncomfortable, I was having hot flashes. You name it it all cam down to PMS big time.
Well they put me on it again. This time i'm taking it at night. I'm sleeping fine, but i'm not having the mood swings as severly as i did the first time. I've had the occational hot flash. But not half as bad as the last time. has anyone else noticed this?

I saw mine with in 3 i started to spot. and by day 6 it was full on period. but they say about 10 days once you've taken the last pill you should see it.

I've taken both provera and prometrium many times to induce AF. With prometrium the Dr always suggests taking it at night, but with the provera I've never gotten that suggestion. I've never thought about it either. Even though provera is synthetic, I wouldn't see why it's effects would be any different on sleep, energy, ect. So, taking it at night probally is the best, I would assume.

I always take any meds like that at nite...I can generally deal with things better when I am sleepin
I find it cuts down on my headaches too.

Oh when AF comes varies for me, sometimes its 3 days sometimes 5

AF for me with Provera only comes about 12-16 days after my last pill
I will try to take it at night next time, the side effects are horrible from it normally for me.

this is the second time i've taken provera just on the account that it's been almost a year sence i've seen my period. But the first time it was so bad.
So thats why my husband suggested taking it at night. I tell you thats the best thing to do as well as taking magnesium which helps with mood swings.
i'm doing pretty well on it this time so i'm pretty happy
