I'm going to try this as well, the dr told me there is nothing I can try since we're ttc so I'll try pretty much anything that is more natural!

OOhhhh, sorry I forgot to mention beforehand, if it really stings, add a little milk.

I would be cautious about adding milk since it is widely regarded that milk causes acne because of the its hormones!

I am now only using it as maintenance...I think I hit a plateau of how well it was helping, so I'm just going to use it on really big bumps.

Okay, after about 2 weeks of applying lemon juice in the morning after my shower and leaving it on to dry and then applying my usual makeup, I am here to report. I think I have the same amount of new zits but they are smaller and not as red and irritated. My skin isn't clear by any means, but it is a lot better. Better enough to continue doing it.

what a great idea! I'm always looking for ways to clarify my skin (that don't involve paying a fortune for a department store 'toner')

I've never heard of using lemon juice before! I'm going to go get some on Monday and start using it. I'm sick of spending tons of money on products that don't work; at least lemon juice is relatively cheap.

I am trying this. I wonder if it will have the added benefit of bleaching my facial hair. Is it more painful then waxing?

Does anyone know whether lemon juice stains/bleaches fabric? Just thinking of my clothes and sheets as I'm planning to use this on my back and chest!

Marianne: I know it can bleach hair so there is a possibility that it could change fabrics but it dries pretty fast so I don't think you should worry. I've used this for a week and I don't know if it's just wishful thinking on my part but I do feel like it lightens older marks on my face. However, I have also noticed the stinging at times...
