Default I think something is working!!

So I think I am seeing less hair fall out in the shower, and maybe my hair is getting a little thicker (that could be wishful thinking). I'm not sure what is helping but this is what I have been doing differently the last few months:

1. Taking Yasmin, Sprio, Met & Vitamins
2. Using Nioxin Level 8 Shampoo, Conditioner, & Leave-in Product
3. Low carbing.

I haven't noticed any difference in the facial hair, but I am getting less self conscious about my scalp hair & I am actually feeling pretty good about it
I hope this gives some of you a little hope!

Marjorie

So glad to hear you are having some success. I'm going to ask my endo about spiro, again when i go in a few weeks, he would'nt prescribe it the first time, but i've heard so many good things about it on this site. Hope your success continues!

Good for you Marjorie! I am also on Yasmin, low carb, using the Nioxin and taking vitamins. My hairdresser and dermatologist have said regrowth is occurring but it is so HARD to guage shedding because some days I get more than others, this is probably due to the fact that some days I brush my hair more pre-shower than others. Anyhow, I hope to be having the same results as you are very soon and I am so glad to hear of your positive success.
