I think its great that there is a designated area for DH's to hang out in and it did make my signing up decision easier but then again anything Nik asked me to do id do anyway, well, im still getting around to cleaning out the garage but hey,,, its on my list. LOL
One thing ive commented to Nik about is ive noticed our (dh's, db's, so's) involvement here is quite limited. as she has mentioned i do post a lot elsewhere in other forums and have a blog. aside from answering direct questions or asking them myself i just really dont know where to begin with what to say.
maybe here in the hubby corner we could get some "guy" threads going? hunting, football, beer, cooking, etc... (avid deer, go LSU, make my own, major foodie here) in that context the hubby would be here in the site and subsequently would hopefully roam more of the site and read and learn. personally speaking ive learned so much from reading what you cysters go thru that my time really is best spent reading instead of "talking".
My hubby won't come here and that's fine. He surprised me by reading the book "Managing PCOS for Dummies". I think that was when I realized that he did love, want to support and help me fight this. It's great to see you guys in here! Keep visiting!

Reading the book is a start. He may just be waiting to join here after he visits for a while. Good luck!

I just stopped taking the pill because it makes me severely moody and emotional. My hormones seem to be crazier on the pill. Yasmin for me was the pill that affected my moods the worst. My dh even tells me I am not the same woman that he met when I am on the pill. Since I don't technically need it for birth control or cycle regulation my doc and I decided the best thing to do is to just stop taking it and see if everything stays the same.
You're doing what you can JT and that's really want any woman would want. Good Luck!
