I have had PCOS for a long time now and have had period problems for most of my life. My Osteopath recommended that I start to take essential fatty acids (Omega 3, 6 & 9). I spoke to someone in a health shop and they recommended that the best way to get all three in to your system is by taking a Hemp Seed Oil capsule every day. That was 10 weeks ago, since then I have had two periods, which for me is a miracle. I feel that the Hemp Seed Oil has balanced out my hormones. Long may it continue.

Thanks for the suggestion. I just went off of bcp (went on them to try to get a regular period), and I would like to try the hemp seed oil if I see that my af goes away and doesn't come back.

Thanks for sharing what works for you. I think it's important that cysters let others know what works for them in hopes that maybe it could help someone else.
