I was painting the inside of my house this weekend and everything was all over the place, so I lost my prometrium bottle. I missed it by about 12 hrs. I was perscribed to take 200 mg, x 7 days to induce a period. Do you think that taking 1 dose out of 7 late will keep me from getting AF?

2/07-4/07 -clomid, all BFN
5/07-8/07-consult with RE, diagnosed with pcos, HSG all clear, started met 1500 mg per day
9/07 -1/08 clomid, trigger, IUI's, prometrium- all BFN
2/08- Laparoscopy- polyps removed
4/08- clomid 125, trigger, IUI's, prometrium- BFP!!!

What happens if I miss a dose?
Use the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and use the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time. Do not use extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Call your doctor if you miss more than one dose of this medication.
thanks for the info. I ended up getting AF about 36 hours after last dose of prometrium, so it still worked
