I took my 10 day dose of prometrium, I lost my mind, turned pscho and now nothing......how long should i have to wait for my period. when do i get my personality back??

My experience with the prometrium has been that AF hasn't shown up for about 7-8 days after my last pill. Of course everyone is different so it might not take you that long to start.

i am back to being myself, but I have not had a period yet. my Dr. has said that she is doing some research she is stumped.....(I don't think that is a good sign) she is sending me in for more bloodwork. has anyone had this problem????? I am starting to freakout.....

Hey don't worry or freak. I am on Metformin 2000 mg and I got a period for 3 mos in Feb 04 to May 04. I did not receive another one since that May. Soooo to get to the point. I took Prometrium to induce a period in September. I got all the PMS signs, i got the dizziness w/ the prometrium too and my period never showed up. I was so confused. MY doctor said that could happen and I do not know why. Maybe the Prometrium wasn't strong enough. So this dec '04 I was on Provera and I did receive my period. I am not combining Yasmin w/ Metformin to see how things work. SO Hope this helps and allows you to relax a lil. Good luck!
I took prometrium a few months ago and i took the 10 days of pills and then 3 days later i got af. I just finished my 10 pills again and am waiting. I hope to get it on Sunday, but i do know it might take up to 3 weeks. I would call your Dr. or a specialist if you are concerned.
