It seems that every time I see someone from the US on tv they always have pearly white teeth. And I don't mean moviestars or any other celebs. Normal, not famous ppl have it too!
Since I'm looking into treatment to whiten my teeth, I'm wondering what the deal is. Do you guys in the US all bleach your teeth? Are there more whitening toothpastes around than over here? And if so, what kind/brand do you use?
My dentist told me to be careful, she says there are a lot of things around that do permanent damage to your teeth. Do you guys know of anything safe?

I had my teeth bleached. They were really yellow after I had my braces off. Everyone in my family has always had really yellow, dingy teeth. I have always felt self concious. It cost me 300.00 dollars and I feel it was soooo worth it. I love my teeth now! Good luck to you whatever you decide to do.

I used the Crest white strips about 2 years ago. It made my teeth very sensitive while I was using it, but once I finished the product, the pain ended. I haven't used it again but that's because I'm still happy with the way my teeth look.
sound funny but until you can afford to go for the treatment......get a tan!
honestly, if you use fake tan and a browny pink lipstick or gloss your teeth will look MUCH whiter. that's what I do!

I wouldn't recomend the over the counter whitening agents. They strip your teeth of the top cote of enamel. That is why they get white is cause they are taking off the top layer of your teeth. My sil did this and now she has very thin teeth.
