This is a teen forum. For teens. I have a question for only teens. Sorry anyone else. You will understand when I ask what I am about to ask.
Ladies..I want you to think about something then respond back to this with your thoughts and such.
Do you mind if older people post in the teen forum. Only to give advice/support and encourage us? IF so why? and if not why? Detail reason in why.
This is a opinion:
I think this should be a teen forum but I think it's nice to see what some of the older cysters write. It an give us HOPE. A lot of them are much older and have gone through many of the things we still worry about . Like having children, etc. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
Remember if your not a teen don't respond to this. I just want to here from the teens. To see if they mind you guys posting on here. If you want to say something PM's me.
After some much needed thought, I wanted to reply back and say that I don't mind. I guess where I was coming from was that I felt like we were being intruded. It doesn't seem like such a big thing if that is what the Teens here want. I want to be a mod who helps and not hinders and keeps the peace rather than make problems.
If this is what is needed to keep the peace and the board as Kat wanted it to run, then it is a great idea.

How did you feel we were being intruded? I have a question? If you want to be a mod "who helps and not hinders and keeps the peace rather than make problems" why did you go on this quest in the first place to get rid of adults who are no long teens? Why not post something asking the teens in this forum "what they wanted?" huh? Also why do you delete what people post? It is a forum. Forums are a place to post": thoughts, opinions, feelings, advice, etc. Why did you delete what i wrote?
If it is not what you want. To have anyone else other than teens to post in here than stick to that. Don't pretend like "its all okay now" and that you actually are okay with it now. I don't believe it. This is my opinion.
I hope all the ladies that us this forum post their thoughts and opinions.

Good point. Do you think that "times have changed"? Meaning do you think that they have experienced some of the same things we did/have/or still are or no?

Im only going off of what you said. I am only asking questions based off of what you wrote. That's all I am doing. I m not judging you. For one I wouldnt beacuse I just wouldnt and two , like you said I don't know you. Why would I . Im just asking questions. Don't get so defensive. geez
Rachel, it was not a quest to get rid of the adults as you said. It was a questioning about the adults and things that were posted. You were NOT here in the beginning of this and I don't think that you have any right to judge what I did as a Mod. Please stop.

I for sure think that the older people are still going through what we are going through today. PCOS hasn't changed. They are probably more relieved that medicine has come a long way and there is more out there to help us now!

Courtney, thanks for posting! Im glad that you see that adults should speak out and give and opinion to help us with things we do no understand and to give us HOPE. I m gald you are okay with them posting in the teen forum once in awhile. Also I am glad you take advantage of other forums and post your thoughts/questions their you may have. I know those who aren't teens anymore love helping us younger Cysters a lot! Thanks again for posting!

Jess! Thanks so much for posting too! I love what you said about how PCOS hasn't changed! That's so true! Yes their are different Meds to deal with it and such but the symtoms and the whole thing hasn't. If anything it was worse for those before us because of lack of good medicines and such. Thanks for posting again.

I'm going to just reply with out reading whats below (or above, rather) I have the feeling that its scandalous.
So, quite frankly, let me just say, I'm 19, and I find this particular section to fit in more with my personality and age than other sections. As long as this 'feeling' is maintained, I don't see a problem with those who are older talking - provided that they understand that those participating here are younger, and are most likely not in the same place that they are. Advice and hope are wonderful, and fully appreciated- advice and hope are something that us (with PCOS) desperately need. Perhaps there need be a seperate section?
I also think the title of 'teen' is rather inappropriate- Why should someone be cut off if they are 20 years old? What makes that distinction between that of a 19 or a 20 year old?
If YOU were the one to decide what to rename this section what would it be?

I see why you want adults in here, and I am okay with it too at this point in time. You know what we're going through. However, when it comes to the ladies who are old enough to be my mother (no offense) I don't think they have a place in here. I have nothing against you, but this is the only place in the entire forum where teens/ 20's have a place that fits into their personality. Like the ones trying to conceive have their place and the Aussies and Kiwis have theirs. I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't mind if you give us advice, but don't go full force motherly on us.
