Question I wasn't expecting this.

I just started met 3 days ago (1000mg per day then I'll move up to 1500mg after a week). I was expecting to get really sick. Well, there's certainly some rumbling in the tummy, but I can't say I've been sick. Instead, I'm CONSTANTLY hungry. And it's real hunger, not just munchies or cravings. My stomach is actually growling. It's been impossible to stay on my diet. But, my weight has been going down despite me eating more. Is this typical with met? Should I fight the urge to eat, or go with it when I know it's real hunger?

Christine

Hmm... when I first started met I had NO appetite at all nor any sickness. Its interesting to see how we all react so differently to the same pill.
I'd say eat when you know its real hunger.

When I started Met i was hungry all the time also.. I eventually got past it. I've only gotten "sick" with it a few times, (i never have considered diarrhea being sick) A few weeks ago I ran out of Met and when i started it again

I did find that when i take my met i wait 20 minutes or so then eat one of those yoplaint yogurt cups and im fine... I dont really get "sick" or have the excessive hunger..
