Angry IBS vs. PCOS - Diet Battle

Maybe someone can help with my constant battle......
I problems started with having Irritable Bowel Syndrome now for a couple of years and so I started avoiding it's trigger foods (red meats, dairy, raw vegetables, spices etc.) In return I have been eating soft, more sugary foods to keep my stomach at a "livable" level. And it has helped me function again.
Now I have been diagnosed with PCOS and am having such tremendous insulin and weight gain problems. I have ofcoursed been told to go back to a low carb , high protein diet to try and get a hold of the cyst problems and everytime I do, I get so sick to my stomach and bloated that I can't function.
Has anyone else had this battle where if you eat according to your endocrinologist you have severe stomach problems due to its high acidity and heaviness, but if you eat what your gastroenterologist doctor tells you , the cysts and insulin problems start up again?!?
I am so tired of changing my eating habits weekly that I have just about had to settle with liquid shakes etc. to stop the pain for both problems. And that is a BEATING and UNFULFILLING!!!!!
I guess I will have to get a dietician to help me reach a happy medium.
Any suggestions?

I have the same prob but i am coping my eating low fat. High fat is really bad for my IBS.

I have lost over 10kg so far by watching what i eat and exercising regularly.

I don't have IBS but I do have acid stomach problems. What may help you is eating a low GI, low fat diet. Info on a low GI way of eating can be found at http://www.mendosa.com and http://www.glucoserevolution.com . There is a great book on this way of eating too. It's called The Glucose Revolution Plus. It is a follow up to the original, but is better and more up to date. It can be ordered from amazon. When eating low GI you can have things like pasta and certain breads, so it may be more suited to you.

I have exactly the same dilemma - for IBS I'm supposed to be eating a diet based on white bread, white pasta, potatoes, etc. but those are the exact things to avoid for PCOS. I'd really like to lose weight but can't function if I'm getting sick to my stomach constantly. Has anyone found a good compromise of what to eat?
