Default An Idea For Christmas

I was thinking that this year for Christmas, the only gift I want is the gift of health. I have been able to completely control my PCOS symptoms through supplements, a healthy diet, exercise and a healthy state of mind but a complete cure would be nice ;-) So, on Christmas Eve at midnight I will be going to the Saint-Anne Cathedral in Quebec to pray for a cure for PCOS. Ste-Anne was the grand-mother of Jesus and she is supposedly a healing saint. My grand-mother believed strongly in her healing powers. I was wondering if you all could do the same, during the time of Christmas, go to your churches ( no matter what religion you are) or make up your own little prayer place in your home and pray for a cure. I strongly believe in the power of prayer because thoughts are energy and when many people's energies come together in one prayer, it makes it even more powerful. What do you think?

I think it is a lovely idea.
When I was single and discouraged by all the weirdos that seemed to be attracted to me, a friend of mine prayed to St. Joseph, patron saint of families. Shortly after that, I met my beloved DH and now, he and our son are our own "Little Holy Family" as she calls us! Coincidence? Who knows? But, prayer can't hurt!

Best wishes for good health to you and all cysters.

Kathryn

its a lovely idea and I didnt know that about St. Anne.

I got a great faith in Our Lady from my mother who died in June this year. Some day I would love to go to Medjudgorie even though I love going to Lourdes every year too.

Thanks for that Emmanuelle!
