Hey if you don't like it too bad! Now I get all depressed. I hate it!! Maybe it's because now I lost alittle weight (notmuch but a few ppl have noticed) so I started feeling better about myself. But when I look and see it I cry everytime! ANy idea's on what I can do to cover it up? I tried liquid make up and powder cover up and it son'e help

Hi Roxie I know exactly what you are talking about. I shave my face and it feels so smooth. Then I go get in my truck and look in the mirror and there is all the black stubble! It drives me crazy and makes me so paranoid around other people at work! I know they can see it because I can!
I haven't found a solution yet, but I am still looking! I have been using the Quattro for men razor and it works extrememly well! I am also using foundation by Bare Escentuals which is doing the best job of covering it up so far. It looks so much better than all of the layers of foundation and bronzer that I used to use.
Sorry I couldn't offer you any other advice! It I come across any other solutions I will let you know!
Marlyss

I have no idea if this would help or not, but I have used this for a couple of areas. Blot on hydrogen peroxide and then blowdry. After a few days, things seem to lighten up a good bit.

I don't have any solutions but I can say I know exactly how you feel, because I have the same thing. It drives me insane! I wish I didn't have to deal with this every day. But knowing I'm not alone does help, that's for sure.

Roxie, I know what youre feeling here (hugs). This used to happen to me as well. The only thing that helped me was going on Spiro. It has helped with the intensity of the hair growth, so when I shave in the mornings it will last me throughout the day now.. where before I would be sporting my 5 o'clock shadow right on time.

When my face gets that way, especially before have to go to some special occasion, I will sit down and pluck for like an hour. I usually wont get that dark area back for almost 2 weeks ( if Im lucky)until it's all grown back in again. Still shaving everyday. I know, this hair thing really does suck. I waste so much time trying to take care of it and worrying about it.

roxie, have you ever thought about facial waxing. I'm an aesthetician(skin care therapist) and I think waxing or laser are great alternatives to shaving. When you shave your just cutting the hair at the surface.Waxing will pull it out by the root. Waxing tends to thin out the hair growth over time. The hair also comes back a lot smoother.Just some ideas. If you have any questions I would be happy to help.

stephanie I did try waxing a few times. 3 times when I was in beauty school then 2 times at home my SIL *helped* me. Not much hair ever came out. Maybe I'm not doing something right?

Stephanie - the trouble with waxing is that you have to grow the hair long enough to wax. What woman wants to walk around with a full beard while she waits to have it long enough to wax? I get a five o'clock shadow just after one day - imagine what it would be like if I had to grow it to wax?
