It's not quite the same... but for me fruit is a healthier substitute... I love apples and cheese paired together, or grapes and cheese.

If you don't mind artificial sweetener then s.f. pudding or fudgsicles are a nice treat. Possibly s.f. jello, although that does nothing for me.

While doing WW I also discovered "Skinny Cow" (ice cream treats, I'm especially fond of the ice cream sandwhiches [flying saucers if you are familiar with those]) and also No Pudge brownie mix... which I think includes directions for making smaller batches at a time.

Some will recommend the 3 bite and toss route... but doesn't work so well for me sometimes.

I like to splurge occasionally with something truly yummy... which helps me skip some of the "less good" stuff that I eat w/o thinking (like cheap chocolate and free cookies at work).

Curious to see what others suggest,
-Tia

I like frozen strawberries. I let them thaw half way and eat them with a spoon in the bowl. I used to eat grapes, but they are no-no since they are really high in sugar.
I also used to take unsweetened yogurt and add frozen berried and some sweetener like stevia and make a frozen yogurt in the freezer.

One of my favorites is to buy sugar free angel food cake....then use strawberries sweetned in splenda..and top with some sugar free whipped cream for a low carb/sugar dessert.

My dad constantly makes a low carb "pie" by making filling out of cream cheese, canned sugar free fruit, diet jello, and his favorite nuts (walnuts,pecams,almonds,etc...) into a pie crust made out of whole wheat flour.

We do a lot of sugar free jello w/ sugar free cool whip. Sometimes we add berries to it. YUM!

We also do no sugar added popsicles.

Get involved in animal rescue. You won't be sorry. Your heart may break, there may be times when your eyes are red-rimmed for days. You may lose faith in the goodness of people, but your spirit will be renewed by the resilience of those you save. It isn't easy, but it's worth it. I promise you, you will be forever changed.

My not so healthy not so guilty treats. . .Lol

Trader Joe's Sells Low Carb Dark Chocolate. I never used to like dark chocolate, but I really like this. It's really sweet, but because it contains sugar alcohols, I can't eat more than 4 squares max (about 1 oz) or I'll be in the bathroom wondering why the heck I ate that. Also, up to 1 oz of dark chocolate per day can be good for you because it contains anti-oxidants. Drinking milk with it dimishes the health benefit though.

Breyer's makes Carb Smart ice cream (just watch the serving size!).

Sugar free Jello Pudding. . .I prefer the individual cups for portion control.

Medjool dates are really sweet. Sometimes I eat one or two with a handful of pecan nuts for a snack, and they're really tasty.

SWEET TOOTH?

Well, sugar free gum does the trick for me. But because I have an issue with CRUNCH and have a need for something crunchy, I LOVE celery with Peanut Butter (natural/no sugar added).

i love to blend frozen bananas in my magic bullet. i have also added cool-whip and chocolate chips to make it taste like a blizzard, but you don't have to.

I'm not sure this is entirely healthy or even low carb , but I LOVE fruit bowls,

canteloupe, honeydew, mandarin oranges, strawberries, mangoes, pineapples, bananas

Ironically i don't care too much for grapes...

I can take a bowl of that over any sugary dessert any day!

I eat a lot of fruit, I LOVE IT!!! Frozen grapes were my favorite!! But after reading one of posts above I guess I;ll need to cut out the grapes do to all the sugar
If u have a salty tooth I find that honey roasted soy nuts and roasted chick peas are good.

This one works great for me...

Buy one box of Sugar Free Angel Food Cake mix and instead of mixing it with water, mix it with one can of crushed pineapple. Cook as directed. Add a spoonful of sugar free cool-whip on top and some fresh strawberries and you will be good to go!!!!
