I had the most luck getting a diagnosis from an endo and seems like a lot of women on here have had luck with a reproductive endo doc. Some gyno's will diagnosis but not all doctors know enough or even understand PCOS enough to put all of the symptoms together to form a PCOS diagnosis. Personally, I didn't have any luck with my general doc or my gyno. The endo was the only one that helped me out.
Good luck!!

My gyno saw some of the symptoms and referred me to an Endocrinologist, who then diagnosed me with PCOS. She put me on medication (glucophage) to treat the insulin resistance and, in turn, the other symptoms.
