I took 80mg of soy on cd5-9, and o'd on cd 17, according to my ovulation microscope, best $50 I've spent towards ttc so far. Cycle lasted 35 days, same as when I was taking Clomid. BFN, no surprise as my dh's second SA was worse news than the first, we're going to have to explore some other options. I'm just really glad the soy seems to be working, gives me a bit of hope that we'll get lucky.
I wanna try soy too. Before taking clomid, trying something natural is better I suppose. I have some questions, would appreciate if you guys have any answers. Sorry if those have been asked by others before and got replied in some other thread, but I couldn't find it.
Do you guys know if there is the risk of multiples while using soy too? Is it as effective as clomid?
Should we take it cd 5-9 or cd 3-7?
Should we or can we use it along with vitex? If so how should the regimen be?
I don't know about the risk of multiples with using Soy or about which cycles days are best, but I bought a bottle of fertilityblend vitiamins that has vitex in it and the bottle said do not take with clomid.....because apparently they will cancel each other out. So I assumed since soy works like clomid that soy and vitex would cancel each other out as well and I just did Soy this cycle. Not sure if this is true though...good luck!
