Are/were your hormones out of whack? 4. What are/were your symptoms? (ie what made you go to the doc?) 5. How much did you bleed? 6. Did you have clotting or anything else along with your bleeds? 7. How thick was your lining? 8. Did you have a d&c, endometiral biopsy, use progesterone or any combo of the above choices? 9. What was the outcome or results of biopsy, d&c or progesterone use? Thanks so much! |

1. What is/was your age? 39
2. Are/Were you over weight? Yes! I could stand to lose abut 75 pounds
3. Are/were your hormones out of whack? Oh God yes. I have so much estrogen, but not enough progesterone and my testosterone is elevated.
4. What are/were your symptoms? (ie what made you go to the doc?) I very rarely, if ever got a period. Then I bled and didn't stop for over 8 months.
5. How much did/do you bleed? I bled basically for 8 months straight. Sometimes it was light, but for the last 3 or so months, very heavy, with big clots.
6. Did you have clotting or anything else along with your bleeds? Yes, see above.
7. How thick was your lining? I don't know numbers, but it was pretty thick.
8. Did you have a d&c, endometiral biopsy, use progesterone or any combo of the above choices? I had a sonogram and biopsy done and then a d & c in November.
9. What was the outcome or results of biopsy, d&c or progesterone use? Biopsy didn't get a good reading because there was too much blood. D & C showed both complex and simple Hyperplasia with NO atypia.

Points: 5,295.03 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 5,295.03 | Oh, and I just got the results of my follow up biopsy. After taking progesterone for three months, the Hyperplasia reversed itself. I still have a "very estrogen filled lining" for which I will take Progesterone once every three months for two weeks.
How did your biopsy go, CM?

My Mood: Points: 2,273.25 Bank: 0.00 Total Points: 2,273.25 | thanks for playing! I find hyperplasia sort of interesting, mostley because it can present itself so diffrentley I guess. I didnt get to have my biopsy the other day because the lab person had already left and they couldnt do a blood pregnancy test. I have to go back on the 2nd. I wish I could have just gotten it over the other day! Very scared of how much it will hurt! |
