Question one is I suppose did anyone lose weight after going on the levothyroxine that didn't on just met alone?
HOw long did it take before you started to see some of it come off?
I have a friend (non PCOS) who takes levo, and when she got put on it, the weight was just peeling off at a fairly steady rate. I'm was wondering if I can expect such a miracle as well?
levothyroxine ? same thing as synthroid? if so ive been on synthroid for a month now and i have lost some weight and i think that i lost it on that and not the Met because when i first started the Met i lost 5 lbs and then nothing else.i hope i can lose more while being on the synthroid

I think synthroid is a brand name for levothyroxine so same thing.
Thanks for the input. I've been on for about a week and a half now, and I know it takes up to 6 weeks for the full effect to come into play, but I was just curious.
I'm on ActosPlus Met 15/500 and Levoxothyrine. Not been on them for a full month yet but, I am hoping that som eweight will come off of me. I'll keep you posted.

What I mean is, did that 40 lbs come off with no other life style changes or was it all combined?
I'm off met temporarily because a routine annual bloodwork came back with very high liver numbers. They're going back down though...turns out I may have had an asymptomatic encounter with Epstien Barr Virus (mono). BF wasn't so lucky though I think I gave it to him.
So if my tests are good in a week or two, I should be allowed to go back on met with no problem.
