unless you can suggest any other gentle things that might make me feel better.

got a rotten cold flu - never know which - suppose it is flu as hot and cold?

anyway, also terrible congestion for which i'm trying steaming and breathing in olbas oil and drinking ginger tea. nothing much helping.

but what i quite fancy is some chicken soup.

i have some chicken in, and a few other bits and pieces. but does anyone have the definite ill persons chicken soup recipie?

when I sick my mom makes me her potatoe soup.

2 cans of chicken broth
cut up some carrots
cut up half stock of celery
2 bigh potatoes cubed
add enough milk to turn chicken broth white
add salt and pepper and cook till potatoes are done
then to thicken a bit. add half a cup of instante potato flakes.

thank you. that sounds perfect.
i've since developed fever though and can't face anything!
hopefully tomorrow will be better. will def try the soup.
