My mom found out a few weeks ago that she has a lump in one of her breasts, we go tommorrow to see the surgeon for a follow-up, I dont know whats going to happen yet but I can tell you that im so scared, she is so very dear to me and although im all grown up and married now I still need her so very much. My mom has been the only person I could ever rely on, she has had a really rough life but through everything she has been put through she has always stayed strong for us kids. Im crying as I write this because there has never been a day in my life that without my Mom, ive always known that no matter how bad things were in my own life she was there to help me. My mother is what a mother is all about, she is what all mothers should be. Please say a prayer for her. Thank you say much.
I also found out some bad news today about a friend of mine, actually she was my boss for awhile, my boss is a really sweet woman who raised 4 daughters and a son, she was a joy to work with and kept me laughing, she was a smoker and it has finally caught up with her, I learned today that she has lung cancer and was told by the doctors that she has about a month to live. I feel so sorry for her daughters and son and I know how much they love her, they would often come to visit her where we worked. Please include her in your prayers too. Doctors can be wrong, miracles can happen. My uncle was diagnosed with prostate cancer and told he had 1 year to live, that was 7 years ago.
Id like to thank all of you in advance for any prayers that you can send my love ones way. God Bless you all.
I'm so sorry. It seems when one thing goes wrong, another is soon to follow. I am very very close with my mom and don't know what I would do if i ever lost her so you will be in my thoughts. Keep positive and believe in your heart that it will turn out okay.
I just lost my uncle(age 58) on Sunday. This is the first family member to pass away since I was very little. I"m 22 now so needless to say it is very tough.
Anyways, I will be thinking of your mom and your friend. Hope everything works out for the best.

TxLily: I will think of your mom as I am saying my prayers tonight. I know you are worried but try to be positive. My Mom has had cancer twice in her life. First time was cancer in her uterus...it came out while delivering my older brother. She also had lung cancer...they did surgery and she had radiation. But...today my mom is 62 years old and doing great. The Doctors told her that 90% of her getting well was because of her will power to beat it. So...be strong and never give up hope. Miracles happen every day. My Mom is living proof.
First off thank each and every one of you so much for your prayers, I went with Mom to the doctor today, today was sort of a consultation with the surgeon, he went over her mammogram, and her sonogram with her. He told her that she has 4 lumps in her left breast, one of which is larger than the others. He said he wants to take a biopsy of it. She goes back next week for the biopsy. He told her she shouldnt worry too much because he doesnt believe its cancer. I pray he is right. Please continue to keep my Mom in your prayers. Thanks again so much and I will keep you posted.
