Default Im doing it!

I had a consultation for LHR removal today. And have my first appointment set up for next Friday. I am excited and optimistic, yet realistic. I realize that I may have to get laser forever, and I am OK with that. Also, I shaved my entire face today for the first time ever (Im a plucker/beacher/trimmer/upper lip & neck shaver). Thought I'd just do it since I'm going to have to do it the night before laser. It's nice and smooth. Glad to say, I didn't get a rash. Except on my neck, because those patches of hair are always ugly and irritated. I also have my first appointment with an RE next Friday. I am ready to get my health under control and my self-esteem back!!!!

Good for you for taking control of this problem...

I had LHR in '05 for my excess facial hair... I've always had problems with rashes/irritation when it comes to shaving/waxing/depilatories/etc etc.. and the worst part was the hair would never even fully be removed...

I decided to try LHR in hopes that it would work better than other temp methods...... For me, personally, it has helped alot... I didn't keep up with it as much as I should have because the dr office was a bit far from my house... I wish I could've continued it as I'm sure the problem would be even better.... I used to have dark, coarse, black hair on my chin area that wouldn't even come off with waxing it was so stubborn... LHR left the area hair free for a while (best feeling ever!) but eventually it did grow back because I couldn't keep up with the treatments... But the regrowth is nowhere near as bad as it used to be... Much lighter, softer hair... A rarity in my case...

Good luck with LHR and keep us posted...
