Question im a little confused...

so the ER gave me a script for provera for 30 days to get my period, but it wound up coming the same day i was at the dr's on its own, after not coming for 10 months. the dr. said since im not TTC i could go on BCP like yasmin and then i should be regular again. but he didnt tell me about any other meds i should take for any of the other issues...is that because its too slight of an issue for the other things like the acne, weight loss, hair in odd places, etc that he didnt think i needed it? or do you think there is another reason? i dont know if i have IR yet, he wanted me to go to my regular dr. to get him to check out my low glucose levels and my slow heart rate..
i think the fact that the ER didnt cover this stuff w/me is making me confused.
he didnt tell me to reschedule a new apt., but im assuming he would want to see me after the provera was due to be done to see that it was doing its job..but i havent taken it and thats another question i have..do i take it next month if my period doesnt come again? or give it some more time?
unfortunatly, he is only in that office once a week and i have no way of reaching him otherwise so i cant direct these questions to him....
thanks ladies!

heya my love ill answer as much as i can:

1) bcp are not always them best options for women with pcos it can cause a lot of problems in women with pcos (i am one of these) it doesnt treat pcos it only masks it! for most women they are fine though!!

2) i would go to your PCD to get ur things checked honey its always better to know

3) on the day he is in the office i would call him and get another appointment remember to take charge of your treatment

4) if u have a bit of weight to loose, acne, absent af - i would actually recommend trying metformin - look up information on here xxx

good luck x

Do you have an Endocronologist in your area? I find they are the best Dr's. I love mine. He told me he thought I had PCOS before the tests and BEFORE I said anything about PCOS.
