My names jo, im 16 and Australian and was diagnosed with PCOS about 2 1?2 years ago!
I have so many questions for you all, and im so excited about this site!! It just is so hard to talk to anyone about it, because if you dont have PCOS you cant really understand.
Do any of you get sore backs and ovary pain after you exercise? Its sometimes so bad that the next day, (after exercise) that i cant walk.
Can anyone relate?

i dont know about that. i have pcos. btw i am not a teen. i exercise but never experienced any pain. maybe the exercise u do is not for you. not all exercises are for everyone. for example yoga, for many is good, but some do it cuz it makes them dizzy or nauseous.

taking medication met. glucophage 2000mg (4X500mg) ( not taking it anymore from 21st of May 2008 )
folic acid 1mg (not taking it anymore)
started medication in june 2007
prenatal vitamin pregvit 12th feb. 2008
Got BFP on fri, 8th Feb., 2008!
Due date 3rd oct., 2008
Baby boy on 6th oct.2008

im going on 17 right now and i know what you mean but i haven't been diagnosed for pcos just yet, but this gives me all the more reason to suspect i do.

i hope u dont have pcos.
if u suspect then see ur doctor n get blood test done. they will check for few things to confirm pcos.. dont delay cuz having pcos for long without treatement is not good...

i am going to the doctor to get a check up and get blood tests for everything in the world in the middle of march.
i want to get it sooner, but my mom cant take any time off before that and she won't take me out of school.
so its been planned for a while, and im scared/nervous/excited to finally go though.

its a good thing u got a appointment. dont worry u will be fine by march as long as u see the doc n get tests done. its always better to be on safe side... wish u all the best n then let me know how it went...

Welcome! I'm new to SC too.
I'm 17 and I have not been diagnosed yet. After reading all symptoms on this board, I am almost certain that I have PCOS. Now I need to find a doctor to make an appointment with. Hopefully I am wrong about all of this and just paranoid. But I doubt that.
