Hello Ladies,
I am new to the site. I was dx in 2004 with PCOS. When me and my husband got married i stoped the bcp and 5 yrs later had still not gotten pg then i did not have a period tested and came back negitive did that for 3 months then went to OBGYN and he did blood test and told me i had PCOS. He was a nice doctor but did not tell me anything about PCOS. Most of what i have figured out has been online. Im glad to find a place where i know i fit in that i know there are others like me and that i am not alone.
Welcome!! I was diagnosed last year, and my doctor did explain alot to me,...........BUT, I found more info on here than ANYWHERE, and I had been searching the web for a while.....and all I kept getting was the "Definition" of PCOS, and what it means over and over again, lol.
Couldn't find anything about different medicines, how they effect you, what is best for me, or just women who have been dealing with this for years longer than me that can give me advice.....So, with that being said....I'm very glad you are here
