Hey everyone....Im a 22 year old nursing student from MI. I couldnt offically be diagnosed with PCOS because I do not have insurance at the moment so I could not have any of the tests done, but my dr said that she has seen this many times and I have alot of the symptoms (Increased hair growth, acne, increased weight esp around waist and pain by ovaries, I also was diagnosed with hypogylcemia which can lead to Type 2 diabetes 2 years ago) so my dr told me that she is almost sure that this is what I have. So I am now on birth control and aldactone, and was given a diet which I am going to follow to try to get a healthier me.

Im so glad that I found this site, so I can learn from others and try to help with what I have gone through.

Hello! I am a nursing student too! I was just diagnosed officially today and am glad there is an answer but nervous about what that means for my future. I am using all my nursing skills to learn all I can about it! Hope we can help each other in the future!
