Exclamation Important: BCP and still no period

Hi everyone,

My doc has put me on bcp coz of pcos. I should be on it for 3 cycles till i see her again. I just finished my 21 days of the 1st cycle, stopped for the 7 day interval.. still on day 5 off it and havn't got my period yet..
I will wait till the 7 days are over, but i want to know if i need to see my doc if i dont get my period or just continue with cycle 2.
On the pill box it says to see the doc if you don't get your period coz you might be pregnant, but i'm 100% sure i'm not.. don't ask me how, beleive me.. I AM!
what should i do if i dont get my period?

Cheers,
Emma

Sometimes it takes another cycle to get your period its your body adjusting to the new hormones. But if you are concerned take a home pregnancy test or see the doctor

Default thanks

Thanks for the reply..
I did eventually get my period on the 6th day, but had 2 start on the pill again on the 8th day..so only 2 days.. better than nothing i guess..

What i'm concerned about now is hairloss!!
A week ago i started noticing that handfulls of hair and falling.. i don't know if its coz i'm stressed or the pcos or the bcp?! i'm really depressed about this.. don't know what i should do..

I have very long hair.. it almost to my knees and has always been very thinck.. now if i lose a lot of hair i would have to cut almost all of my 18 years of nurturing my hair..

I'm really feeling very depressed about this.. i've been crying myself to bed everyday
