James has completed the recoding of the template design to help the board run faster. If you are experiencing board FORMATTING issues, please post them on THIS thread.
Please state the BROWSWER you're using, and if possible include a screenshot, or be VERY specific about what you were doing/clicking on, when you noticed the problem. This will help us trouble shoot.

I forgot to add, the board should be running MUCH faster for everyone now. Please let me know if it's not. We have optimized the MySql database, blocked the Yahoo spiders at server level, and the entire template design has been recoded for faster loading.
On my end, things are lightening fast. If you don't notice any difference, or you're still seeing page hangs, or other strange stuff, post it here. Try to be as detailed as possible (including what type of connection you're on)

I'm using Firefox and we have DSL.
Do you think it would help if I logged off completely from Firefox and restarted it?
(All this time I thought it was on my end because I just added some plugins to Firefox.)

Actually mine is like that too, although I guess my adblocker is working because I dont have to scroll too far down the page, but it still starts lower than usual.

I just checked, and James if offline. When he comes online tomorrow, I'll have him take a look. If you haven't logged out completely recently, that 'might' clear your cache, and help a bit...can't promise anything, but it 'might' help.

Complete ditto for me I've restarted/logged on and off and nothing changed. Other than that, no problems here. Much faster today!

The "girltalk" theme doesn't work for me. Which, uh, made it really really hard to see this area! (Luckily this thread was the was the "last posted to" thread so it appeared on the main forum listing page. I've been using the "tan" theme to browse the other areas, but unfortunately this area won't let you use any other theme.
Basically, I get the green background, the SC logo at the top and the ads on the top and side. . .then just the vBulletin copyright message (which normally appears at the very bottom of the page) right at the top!
If someone has a fix or suggestion for me, please PM me because I'm not sure I'll be able to make it back here to read about it!

Ah, no problems. Super fast loading- great job you guys! I figured out what was going on with me earlier- the page was loading waaaaaay down there on the scroll bar and I just wasn't paying enough attention to catch it. But everything looks perfect now.
(Everyone, please remember to list that information, and include a screenshot if you can, and if your problem is different from what others are reporting)
