Default IMPORTANT!! Byetta Question

I started taking 5 mg Byetta on 11/29. My endo upped it to 10 mg last week. I am a little concerned because I didn't have a period (light spotting) in December and this month's is already late (usually get it end of previous month/beginning of month). I asked my endo about this and he said that Byetta should not delay menstration. He asked if I could be pregnant. Although that is a VERRRRRRRRRRY slim possibility - it is still possible. I'm freaking out and thinking about taking a pregnancy test.

Has anyone else missed/skipped a period when starting Byetta?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I havent tried byetta but i just wanted to say that maybe you should test to make sure. Walmart has tests for about $3 that work well.

I started Byetta 5mg in Nov 07 and have lost around 20lbs already. I went to my doc this week and she is wanting to up my to 10 mg also. She said she would give me another month to see how my blood work is. I know when I eat alot of carbs like pizza...i end up very nauseous....i did a preg test this week just to rule out the possibility. I'm on yaz right now....but we are always trying for our first little one.
