Hello ladies I have a question regarding HCG levels
I had a m/c a couple months ago and was given the green light to start ttc again. On Friday I got a bfp on a hpt the second line was faint but still very much there. I went to doc who took blood work and then told me my results were inconclusive and that we would try again this week. I assume by this she means that my HCG levels are low. I have taken more hpt’s and still just a faint line shows up. My question is this, Have any of you heard of a woman having low HCG levels at the beginning of pg and then going on to have a normal pg??If I am pg I am about 5 weeks along. Judging by my continual faint line on my hpt I assume that means my HCG levels are not getting any better and that I will just have a m/c. Please any ladies with any info please let me know thank you so much

I'm sorry for your uncertainty. I would put down the hpt's, you are only going to drive yourself more crazy. The only way you are going to know anything is to see what the hcg does when it's repeated. When they call you back, make sure you ask them for the hcg number...Even if they start low, it could be ok as long as they double.

thanks kristina it is good advice since I think I have taken 8 million hpt since friday and I am going broke lol. I go for a beta on thursday it just seems like forever to wait. At this point I really am ok if this is just a chemical pg and I am going to m/c however it is the waiting to find out anything that is killing me
