Exclamation Important Question

I just got my period! (Only you guys know how happy that makes me!) Anyway, I think I was told that you can start birth control on the first day of your period. My doctor prescribed Yasmin and I'm wondering if it's ok to take it in the evening? It says "sunday morning start" on the package, but I was told it doesn't matter if it's Sunday or the first day of your period...but can it be in the evening?

Obviously, I haven't had much experience with birth control. And I stupidly threw out the insert that came with the prescription and my roommate emptied my desk wastebasket this morning! Help!

Smile

I take mine in the evening, as I now for definite I will be awake so I can take it at the same time every day, don't fancy setting my alarm early on a sunday morning to take the pill!

I don't know if this answers your question. I am sure you can get all the same advice as on the packet on a website or in a medical journal.
