Increase my own Met doseage? I've been on Met for 2 months now. This is my second attempt at the medication and I've found since I take other stuff for my stomach that I don't have quite the digestive issues I had with Met before.
Anyways, I don't have insurance so I can't see a specialist. My family doc will only give me Met. She won't give me BC pills right now because I have high and unmedicated (due again to no insurance) blood pressure.
She started me out on half of a 500 mg Met pill. Since I couldn't get the pills to break properly, and my bottle says "one half to one whole pill per day", I went ahead and started taking one 500 mg pill.
I'm not noticing any changes, other than eating doesn't make my heart race and pound out of my chest anymore.
I started thinking that maybe I would take two 500 pills and see what happens?
It's probably a bad idea right?
