Question Increase in prolactin levels?

Hi Ladies~ I'm a newbie and I posted awhile ago about when I first found out. I went in to go and get my blood tests done and Iit came back that there was elevated levels of the hormone prolactin. I was wondering if anyone else had ever recieved results like this also. My testosterone levels were normal but my insulin levels were slightly elevated with a score of 10. The prolactin was result that we were not expecting. THe first question that the doctor asked me was if my tests were done while i was fasting which they were. Any input would be helpful...
thankselevated levels of the hormone prolactin

Default Prolactin overload

I'm still pre-diagnosis myself, but pretty sure (after years of thinking "what the heLLL??") that pcos is it.

A year or so ago I was brushing my teeth in the morning and looked down and thought I had dripped toothpaste on my nipple (sorry to be graphic). Not so, it was milky discharge. I've never been pg (partner is female...that would be hard!) and hadn't had any significant breast stimulation (which, wierdly enough, can cause you to lactate).

Blood test confirmed higher than normal prolactin and testosterone levels. At the time they didn't peg me as PCOS b/c I'm on the scrawny side. I know I've read in the research that elevated prolactin is an associated symptom, and even skinny chicks can have pcos.

Good luck and let us know what you find out!
