Unhappy increased sex drive?

Wondering if any other ladies have experienced an increased sex drive as a result of the hormonal imbalance associated with PCOS? Personally, I have an extremely high sex drive, and am really worried that my sexual activities may "worsen" my condition. I know this is a personal subject, but I am feeling very frustrated and desire a better understanding of my condition. Thank you in advance for any replies!

My husband complains that I ask for it too much. Our roles are usually reversed.... I always want it, and he is always "too tired" lol. I guess the shoe can be on the other foot sometimes. Mabye it is all the testosterone. We do have incresed male hormones.... Who knows.

I am not in control of what I did yesterday.
Nor am I in control of what I do tommorow.
All I am in control of is right now,
And hey-
I am not stuffing my face right now, so I am doing a pretty darn good job.

i've wondered about that aswell, like does doing 'sexual stuff' increse your testosterone level in any way? that might be the stupidest question. it would really suck if doing sexual stuff turned out to be bad. or is it good and keeps our hormones more in balance?
arg!

Question i can relate

I can relate to having an increased sex drive. Lately I have wondered if too much activity stimulates the ovaries too much?? And if soo if it cause more PCOS symptoms or what?
The week right before my pd I feel like I can't get enough. It's kinda embaressing admitting this This is when I know my pd is on it's way (tmi..I know), cause I have soo much urges.
But I just wanted to reply cause I felt I was the only one before you wrote about it. I have never seen a post talking about a high sex drive and activity and it's cause/effects. If you find out anything about it I would love to know more.
Oh yeah I'm 25 with PCOS since I can remember. I am on Metformin 1000mg.

its funny cuz this is a topic i'd never talk about with anyong i know in real life but it's so nice to hear i'm not a freak or somthing.. so many women seem to act like they hate sex or are repulsed by how much guys want it and somtimes it feels like somthing must be wrong to have a high sex drive hah.. ahhh.. awkward.

Smile I'm not the only one...

Thank you all so much for your replies! It is so glad to hear that I am not the only one who has to deal with what seemed to me to be a bit of a reversed symptom. Hope you all have a great night! Please continue the discussion!

I definitely "suffer" from this as well! (suffer in quotes because, well, sometimes erratic schedules and mismatched libidos cause suffering!)

I've never heard of anything bad resulting from having a lot of sex...and I've never noticed any adverse side effects in myself.

until we hear otherwise, let's just keep doing what we like to do.
