Hi all,

I started Met on Aug 4th. I started on 500 mg for the first week, 1000 mg for the second week and tomorrow (actually later today now) will be increasing to 1500 mg. I had a bit of nausea the first week but since have been fine and haven't had any other real s/e's, not bad one's anyhow, but I am wondering, if this is when I should be bracing myself? Do the side effects seem to come the most when you increase to a higher amount? Is taking it 3 times a day what will suddenly bring on more s/e's if I haven't had any already? I know noone can say for sure, but I am just wondering if I should be bracing myself or expecting anything awful today? Thanks, sorry if this is a stupid question, just wondering what all of your experiences were. I see a lot of people have bad s/e's from just the 500 or 1000 and I didn't so hopefully I won't from the 1500 either Thanks.

started met right after you and i move up to 1000mg in a few days...i've been wonderign the same thing... i only had one bad day and i am thinking that that was related to what i ate and not the met. but who knows really...i'd say always be on your guard u just never know for sure...

Thanks! Good luck to us both! I was kind of thinking in one way that since I haven't had too many side effects that w/the beginning that I wouldn't...because it seems that a lot of people have bad s/e's w/just starting the 500 mg, but I only had the nausea w/that and then it went away, and since increasing to 1000 mg I have had no s/e's. So, I'm hoping the same will carry on...but then on the other hand I thought that maybe increasing it to 1500 might be when my s/e's kick in! LOL. I hope not, good luck to you as well, hopefully there won't be too many s/e's. let me know how you do
