This is my first post, I apologize in advance for being such a pain right off the bat.
I am reading "The infertility cure" and I LOVE this book!! The book says "if you have
more than 1/4(25%) to 1/3(33%) yes responses in any diagnostic category, then you may have an element of this imbalance in your system."
*emphasis added
According to the questionnaire, these are my results:
Liver Qi stagnation 76%
Dampness 67%
Kidney yang deficiency 61%
Spleen Qi deficiency 51%
Kidney yin deficiency 50%
blood deficiency 44%
Heart deficiency 44%
Damp heat 33%
Cold uterus 33%
Excess heat 25%
Blood stasis 16%
Based on all of this the book has recommendations for bringing the body back into alignment. Can anyone tell me more about six ingredient rehmannia decection (liu wei di huang tang)? Or two cured decoction( Liu Jun Zi Tang) or 6 gentlemen decoction (Liu Jun Zi Tang)? I can't seem to find anything about them. These are 2 among the MANY the book recommends. It is also recommending black cohosh, peach kernel, angelica, Epimedium and morinda, gensing and astragulus, Gledisia, Rambling powder, Polygonatum, nettles, white peony and cooked Rehmannia. I know NOTHING about 95% of these herbs and there are just sooo many of them! I don't know if they are safe together, what part of my cycle they need to be taken in (or if I should take them all cycle long). I am already taking several herbs and vites and I don't know if they will react with those. Those include cinnamon, dong quia, Vit C, Vit b6, fish oil, a 1 a day women's and progesterone (progon-B). I would LOVE it if I could find a formula that would take the quess work out and minimize the pills I take (I already take over 30 a day!) but mostly I just want to make sure I am going about this right and safely, and to find out if there is a place online that is reputable enough to buy the Chinese herbs. I know I am asking alot of questions but I hope someone can answer as many of them as possible. TIA!!!
P.S. DH and I aren't TTC but only because I am not ovulating, we are NOT preventing.
