Of course I would think of this now, in one of my classes we're talking about injections and the correct procedure for giving them. When dh gave me my HCG shot he went in at an angle, according to my professor, IM shots are straight and not angled which would explain why this cycle didn't work. Can anyone shine some light on this? Also, I'm thinking of doing IUI if we are pg by March which is dh's birthday and our anniversary. If anyone has a website on on IUI or IM injections please fwd that to me.

IM injections are put in like you are throwing a dart. sub Q injections are put in at an angle and are put in the fatty tissue of your body... the reason why there are diffrent ways is that the drug is broken down differently depending on it is in your muscle (IM) or your fat (sub Q). hope this helps
