I take 2 500mg doses a day. One in the morning and one at night. I did a little bit of research and most things I read said to take 1000mg a day. Hope this helps
I take a Choline-Inositol combination, but my dosage is 500mg of Inositol 2 to 3 times a day, generally before or at the start of each meal. So far it's been working wonderfully for me.
Good luck!

I have found out about Inositol recently, and was wondering if you girls knew the best way to take it, and where you get it from. I saw GNC has it, in both powder form and tablets, its is better one way or another? I take Vitex right now, will it help still? or will it interact at all? I have been doing research online, but haven't found anything yet.

I take the tablets from GNC. I don't know if one form is better than another or not. I also take Fertilaid which has vitex in it. As far as I know there aren't any interactions between the two.
I wouldn't imagine that the Vitex would interact badly with the Inositol, as they're both meant to do different things. If anything, the Inositol may help enhance the effects of the Vitex.
If you're trying to decide between one form or another, I would try to take the Inositol in a powdered form (either loose or in a capsule form, which I'd think is easier) because it will probably be absorbed more easily by your body. Also, you may want to consider taking it along with Choline, it's been a good pairing for me so far.

thanks so much ms kensington and lexibelle - i will try those suggestions, i think i am going to do the capsule form of powder, i am not a full on loose powder person, i take the vitex in capsule form, and if i haven't taken it with food i tend to burp up, and vitex tastes gross.
