ok. just an update: i have been on inositol, i take it twice a day, 1300 mg in the morn, around 11, and 1300 mg in the evining, around 7. so far, i am not sure if i have ovulated, but my AF is here! yay. my last one started sept 11, and lasted until oct 11th.-at which time i was on DCI. not i am only taking inositol so hopefully this one will be normal 5-7 days! and hopefully i ovulate this month! i will be tracking.

my weight has been constant. i have been eating really really really bad, but i have bn exercising, and i have maintained my weight, before inositol, i prob would of gained 10 lbs! so its going good so far.

i have noticed that i do shed as much as i use to when i was younger. with the dci, that didnt happen.

my moods have been much more constant, and leveled! -my hubby is very thankful for that!!--

so thats a month in.

Melmoon-You mentioned creepy crawlies on your scalp. What is that?! I have started getting that in the middle of the night. I actually get checked for lice because I thought I felt things moving on my head. No lice though.

another update...
I thought before I might have O'd on CD21 (or maybe CD26?) but I now think it was actually around CD37. Still - this is earlier than the earliest I have O'd before since starting temping around 2 years ago (CD44). I upped my MI dose from 1500mg/day to 3000mg/day on CD35. Weird thing - I had really, really tender/sore breasts for about a week before O. Usually this is a sign for me that I am in the luteal phase - so I thought I must have O'd earlier. Oh well - I guess I'll have a better idea when AF shows up - hopefully in about a week??
Weight loss seemed fast & steady to start off with but has plateaued now. Still exercising a lot but diet hasn't been so good lately.
I'm definitely keeping on taking the MI. Hoping to O earlier again next cycle.

well, it's just a sensation that u have on the head like you said.. they, say it's common with AGA? I don't know, but it usually makes my hair more oily and I believe that causes it to thin as well???
I hope this answers ur question.

Pearl1981 - I recently started taking the licorice root as well (helps with Adrenal insufficiency) and I did notice a decrease in hair shedding from it. Also, I'm using progesterone cream twice daily, and I believe it has made me ovulate since i've had thick mucous discharge for a few days now.

Also, I've stopped taking the inositol since I believe it was making my hair shed a lot more than usual. maybe it was the energy that I was getting from it... my body doesn't do well under stress b/c of the adrenal insuff. Another reason why i don't work out as hard as i used to, just walking now.

has anyone had any issues testing for ovulation ( the strips) AND taking inositol? i was just wondering if it makes the line not show up or if there were any other effects.

Hey! Just wanted to let you ladies know that there's another success story here! I haven't had a period since August. For the most part I'm every 28 days but once or twice a year AF takes a vacation LOL... Anyhow, whenever this happens I have to use meds to bring her back. I started 1500 mgs of Inositol and 1200 mgs of Choline daily 2 weeks ago today. Immediate changes. Not as hungry, beautiful ,mood, wonderful energy and I became regular... Although I had some PMS symptoms AF still was nowhere in sight. So this past Sunday I upped my dosage to 2000 mgs for the Inositol and left the Choline the same. Well I've been pretty crampy through the week, had my normal cravings and late lastnight I had some spotting and this morning AF is here and in full affect! Woo Hoo! Another happy customer.....
