Hello everyone. My name is Andrea. I'm 23, and recently married *08-08-08*. I'm from the suburbs of Chicago, and currently unemployed. I'm in school for psychology/social work. I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2004, and have been taking 500mg Metformin/day since then. I've only recently started seeking out communities for PCOS, due to the fact that sometimes I just feel like no one understands me. So I came here to be surrounded by people who DO understand! how is the metformin working out for you? i just started it about a week ago....

thanks ladies!! I've been on Metformin since 2004, so it's been working pretty well. We've "recently" (recently started admitting that we are, that is!) started into the territory of TTC, so I'm not sure in that aspect yet! So far, I really like it here!

I can understant why! Its fabulous. Although I'm sure everyones already told you that. Thanks for posting your story. It always feels like no one understands it. my skiny freinds with no beards to speak of. Most of them don't know, mainly because I'm still ashamed of it. It's so amazing to see how many women are going thru this and still strong.
