It depends. Is that what you're taking per meal or what? If so, trust me, I take more than you, you're fine my dear! Some people have to take 1 unit per carb...so it's not good to really compare because everyone is different. Everyone has a different biochemistry that needs to be taken into consideration.

My endo has always said that a healthy young non-insulin resistant adult would have an insulin level of about 10. What are your glucose numbers? Have you had an OGTT?
