 Insulin Resistance
here we go...
In 1997, I was told I had multiple cysts on my ovaries...but I don't think it was 'full blown' PCOS...fast forward to today. I went to my annual OB/GYN appt with a new doctor at my practice. She's having me tested tomorrow for insulin resistance and hypothyroidism. I'm just looking for other symptoms that might help me figure out what's going on...things that I might know to look for, but I should be. Here's what I have so far:
obesity, more around the middle than anywhere else
difficulty losing weight despite diet and exercise.
hair coming out all the time, but no pattern baldness
no/slow hair growth anywhere else on my body, including legs and armpits
pre-hypertension
Help me! I don't even know what questions to ask! lol |
