I am not diagnosed as having Hypo....well not that I know of.

I went to my weight management class at my endos office and the pink sheet of paper that lists your diagnoses had the hypo-2nd to surg. This interested me because he said that I wasnt hypo. I wonder if it was just an admistration mistake.

I was tested a couple weeks ago and my TSH was 1.8 which is good because the last time I think it was 3.4 and a month before that it was 2.44.

Hi Jamie,

I certainly am no doctor, but I think it might be strange to have your TSH fluctuating like that in the span a few months, especially if you don't take thyroid meds. Do you have any other symptoms of hypothyroidism?

I know I feel best when my TSH is below 1. And the "normal" ranges for TSH are all over the place - different labs use different ranges. I think the "normal" lab ranges don't have a whole lot to do with any real person, and people feel differently at different TSH levels.

Good luck to you!!

I always thought I had hypo until I was dx with PCOS. my symptoms are no periods, hair loss, weight gain, FATIGUE, brittle nails, and a couple others that I cant think of right now. It seems like everytine I get bloodwork done they are always testing my TSH.
