Thanks that was really interesting - I have cysts but all my hormones are normal and I don't (so they say) have insulin resistence, but I am going to get this checked again.
This the type 2 one makes loads more sense to me than the "typical" type 1... so I am going to have a bit more of a looksee into this! Cheers!!!

i know im proably the only one who has reply to this who dont agree with it. you can go to a place that you control pcos but there is no way it will reverse or cure pcos. if it was then everyone would have known that by now. for me i will always believe pcos comes from genes. i have also in doctor notes in my file from different doctors who does say its a disease. i know some dont believe it but i have it in writing.
but this is what i believe and learned over the period of time i have learn and been living with it.

Okay.. now im confused.. the article says that metformin is not a good option in woman who arent insulin resistant.. Im on metformin and i am NOT insulin resistant. What do you guys think about this.. is anyone else on Metformin without insulin resistance?!?!
I completely agree with the article in every way except one, I think there are more then 2 types of pcos! But I do think it is reversible/controllable!
controlable yes. depends on what you think reversible is. you will have it until its cureable. and its not yet so you will have it always and to me. i have it thru genes so sorry you cant get rid of it
