Hey Cysters With Migraine!!
I found this article on some new research being done on a gut-brain connection to migraine. Any cyster with food triggers already knows that the gut and brain are connected, but there seems to be some serious research being done on this.
Another interesting thing is that there is a company Foreverwell that created a supplement for treating the gut-brain connected migraine that specifically targets Liver function. My doctor told me that quite a few women with PCOS have elevated Liver Enzymes (me included!!) or have progressed to Fatty Liver as a result of IR.
I am wondering if perhaps there is a connection between PCOS/Liver Function/Migraine? Of course, more research needs to come out, but I thought it was an interesting hypothesis.
Anyway, just wanted to pass this along in case there are some other Cysters fed up with Migraine!!!! Maybe this is another avenue to explore...
