I was just at the movies and saw a preview for a movie called Hot Chick. It is about a high school girl who all of a sudden turns into a man. At one point she (looks like a he) asks another teenage girl (who is overweight) if she knows how it feels to have to shave your chin every morning. She replied yes!! Boy could I relate. Now I want to see that movie.
Well, well, that sounds interesting.
I just hope that they treat these subjects in a tasteful, sensitive manner and not ridicule them in a joking manner like most movies.
Hi. I actually won a "preview pass" from a Radio Station to see The Hot Chick. It is not good. Once again, they are making fun of overweight women with facial hair. I guess most people don't realize how many women face this problem every morning and how it literally wipes out their self-esteem. The last thing they need is to be reminded that the rest of the world is laughing. My college roommate suffered from facial hair terribly, to the point she was shaving everyday. She used to talk to me about it and just cry and cry. Today she is doing much better thanks to laser, but I just know that comments like the one on the Hot Chick bring it all back for her. I was interviewed after seeing the show and I told them that I was glad it was free, because I would have been mad to spend my money on @%#* like that.
Much love,
Leed.
Hmmm...I think I'll pass on this movie. In the preview, it looked like they were actually making overweight women with facial hair the butt of the joke! It wasn't dealt with in a sensitive manner at all!

My fiance was wanting to see that movie. After reading this s***, I won't be seeing it. And I know he won't want to see it after I tell him. I think it is disgusting how people find humor in situations like that. I wish there were a way to let the makers of that movie know just how rude and wrong it is.
