 International Adoption Experiences
DH and I are considering international adoption, whether or not our current ttc efforts are successful. I've been reading about adoption, and I just feel really drawn to it--way more than continuing to IUI, injectables, or IVF. I don't think fost/adopt or domestic adoption would work for us because we couldn't bear the heartbreak of returning a child to their birth family or having a birth mother change her mind.
Since I don't know that much about adoption, can anyone share their international adoption experience? What country did you choose and why? How did your child bond with you? What was your trip like? How did you save the money or fundraise? Any help from my fellow SCs would be greatly appreciated!
